We start from the car park of the Alpengasthof Finkau. At the end of the Durlassboden reservoir, we take a shady forest path no. 540 along the natural monument Leitenkammerklamm up to the rustic Trisslalm. Continue through the back Wildgerlostal valley straight on through open terrain along the stream. A head for heights is an absolute prerequisite for the steep ascent no. 540 to the Zittauer Hütte. Via a staircase on the rock face, we climb the trail past the moraine to the waterfall and finally to the Zittauer Hütte (2,328 m). At the top, a magnificent landscape awaits us with the Wildgerlossee lake and the rugged glacier world of the Wildgerloskees.

Our starting point to the Bodenalm is the Gasthof Häusling-Alm in the Zillergrund, this can be reached by bus 8328 from Mayrhofen (Zillergrundlinie). From the inn, walk to the power station, there cross the Ziller bridge and continue on a short stretch of asphalt road to an old farm.
Stay on the marked trail, which begins as a narrow and steep climb to the Bodenalm. The path zigzags through the forest. The first part in particular is extremely steep.
Surefootedness is absolutely necessary for the following steps, some of which are carved in stone. The forest clears a little later. From the upper valley floor, the view of the breathtaking Grundschartner opens up, an almost picturesque panorama. After the path leads us to the right side of the stream, the rustic Bodenalm is reached.
Altitude difference: 567m| Total distance: 12.5km | Highest point: 1786m

Our circular route starts in Tux-Lanersbach, there we cross the "Loschbodenbrü-cke". The route continues on the forest road to the Höllensteinhütte. Until the Wegwieser appears on the left with the turn-off to the Grieralm, after a long bend we continue on the gravel path. We follow the forest road along to the Griersee. Here we can relax and enjoy the idyllic natural paradise.
A little below is the Grieralm. Back to Lanersbach, the trail leads from the Grieralm again along a forest road through shady woodland to Lanersbach.
