Projektbericht
The name of the village is called Hta Naung Su (Lan Ma Taw). This is part of the big village group called Taung Zin. The solar station is situated directly on the main road. In the village there are only 50 families. But there are over 500 people living in this area. Although they got the electricity in the village there is no connection to the tube well. So they used the generator to pump up the water. Before they got the solar system they used 4 gallons of diesel every day. It pumps around 2400 gallons of water per hour and the tube-well is 650 feet deep. They distribute water by the pipeline and the village people have to pay one unit of water for 500 Kyats. And the village needs 10000 gallons of water per day. So now they have our solar water system, and they save 16000 Kyats per day by saving 4 gallons of diesel for the environment. The solar system can pump in 6 hours a day. It was quite enough for their daily need of water. Now they can use the rest of the water for their trees and animals. Our system works 9:00 O’clock in the morning until 3 O’clock in the evening. So it works 6 hours per day. The village people are so happy and give a lot of thanks to us. And for us this solar station will save 5.570 liters of burnning diesel per year and the village people will also save over 5 million Kyats = 3.500 Euro per year. This is a great project from both sides of financial and environmental.
